Membership Questions

Everything you need to know about our maintenance membership plans.

What's included in the seasonal inspection?

Our technicians perform a complete system inspection, cleaning, and tune-up. For heating: we inspect the heat exchanger, test ignition, check gas connections, clean burners, test safety controls, and perform a carbon monoxide check. For cooling: we clean condenser coils, check refrigerant levels, inspect electrical connections, test capacitors, and clear the condensate drain. Every visit includes a filter replacement (customer provides filter) and a full system performance report.

What's the difference between Essential and Premier?

Essential ($20/month) includes one tune-up per year, $79 diagnostic fee, 10% repair discount, $50 annual credit toward a new system, and a 1-year repair warranty. Premier ($40/month) doubles everything: two tune-ups per year, $0 diagnostic fee, 20% repair discount, $100 annual credit toward a new system, and a 2-year repair warranty. Premier is ideal if you have both heating and cooling systems or want maximum coverage.

How does the diagnostic fee work?

When you call for a repair, we charge a diagnostic fee to identify the problem. Essential members pay a reduced $79 fee (normally $129+ but can go much higher depending on location). Premier members pay $0—the diagnostic is completely free. If you proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair cost.

How does the repair discount work?

Any repair you need throughout the year is automatically discounted. Essential members save 10% on all repairs. Premier members save 20%. This is on top of the diagnostic fee savings. For a $500 repair, that's $50-$100 back in your pocket.

What's the annual credit toward a new system?

Every year you're a member, you earn a credit toward a future furnace or AC replacement. Essential members earn $50/year. Premier members earn $100/year. Credits accumulate as long as you're a member. When it's time to replace your system, your credits are applied to the purchase price.

What does the repair warranty cover?

Any repair we perform is guaranteed for 1 year (Essential) or 2 years (Premier). If the same issue comes back within that period, we fix it free of charge—no questions asked. This is on top of any manufacturer part warranties.

How does the free filter replacement work?

During your seasonal inspection, we'll replace your filter at no labor charge—you just provide the filter. If you're not sure what filter to buy, we'll tell you exactly what you need when we schedule your visit. Or we can supply the filter at cost.

When does my membership start?

Your membership is active immediately. You can schedule your first tune-up right away or save it for the upcoming season. Benefits like repair discounts and reduced diagnostic fees apply to any service call from day one.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no long-term contract. You can cancel anytime with no penalty. If you cancel mid-year, you keep any unused benefits through your paid period. Most members stay year after year because the value is obvious—but you're never locked in.

Is the membership transferable if I sell my home?

Yes. You can transfer your membership to the new homeowner, which is a nice selling point for your home. Or you can transfer it to your new address if you're staying in our service area.

Which plan should I choose?

Choose Essential if: You have a newer system, rarely need repairs, or just want basic coverage with one annual tune-up.

Choose Premier if: You have an older system, want both heating and cooling tune-ups, or want maximum savings on repairs with $0 diagnostic fees and 20% off all work.
