Position Details:

• Position: HVAC Service Technician
• Reporting to: Vice President, Sheldon Young
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed
• Company Vehicle: Provided with a “take-home-at-night” company truck.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in refrigeration and air conditioning units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with boilers systems
• Inspect & Service - Furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, roof top units
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to execute HVAC designs accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service while conducting field service visits.
• Collaborate with the teams
• Maintain tools, vehicle & equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Mindset to grow within the company
• Provide customer with clear explanation of problems and what solutions we can provide.
• Proven experience in HVAC installation and repair
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC design
• Experience as a service technician in the HVAC field
• Mechanical aptitude with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance
• Familiarity with field service operations

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: Starting at $DOE per hour
• Sales Commission: 5% on sold/completed parts estimates
• Spiffs: Additional compensation for accessories, payable bi-weekly
• Leads Commission: 2% on any leads turned over (All compensation is subject to applicable withholding and payroll taxes.)

• Vacation Leave: Eligible for 10 days of paid vacation leave accrued per year.

Job Description: Rocky Mountain Heating and Cooling is seeking a dedicated and motivated HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and grow within our company. As an HVAC Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with installations, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems

• Ensure job sites are clean and safe
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Attend training sessions to improve skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Valid driver's license
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to handle outdoor elements and work in various weather conditions
